A driver faces aggravated DUI charges after she caused a three-vehicle collision.  One of the other cars involved in the accident was a Department of Public Safety patrol car.

The crash occurred just after 11:00 a.m.  The  patrol car was on the shoulder of the road and conducting a traffic stop.  The woman lost control of her car as she approached the patrol car and hit the back of it. The woman then went into other traffic and was hit from the side by a tractor trailer.  The woman, her daughter, and the patrol man were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.  

The woman will be placed in custody when released from the hospital.
