According to Tucson Police Department Traffic Detectives, a 57-year-old woman was killed Thursday night in a fatal motor collision.

The accident occurred around 7:20 PM at 2500 E. Hughes Access Road. A 51-year-old woman driver had lost control of her car, resulting in a rollover crash.

Her 57-year-old passenger was killed in the crash, while the 51-year-old was taken to a local hospital and remains in treatment.

The cause of the accident is still unknown and police are still investigating.
