A 6 year-old boy has lost his life in an accident that occurred Wednesday evening. The accident happened near Loop 202 near Chandler.

The accident was caused when the mini-van the boy was riding in was attempting to exit the highway, but then decided against it.  The car the lost control on the road, and then struck another vehicle.  This caused the mini-van to roll over.  Relatives of the boy were in the vehicle, and some of them have varying injuries.  They were taken to the hospital for treatment after the accident.

The elementary school that the boy attended was shaken by the news.  Teachers read a statement at the start of the day to the students about this tragic accident.
