A bicyclist collided with a car earlier this morning. KVOA reports that the accident occurred at, "4th Avenue and Congress around 5:00 a.m." The bicyclist and the vehicle were reportedly heading west. According to witnesses, the cyclist lost control of his motorized bike and swerved into the vehicle.

Police say it was the cyclist's fault, and the driver will not be issued a citation.

The cyclist has been identified as 47-year-old Dennis McKinney. He reportedly was found to have life-threatening injuries after the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
