A U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Arizona on Federal Route 19.

The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m., but specific details of the crash have not been released. The agent was pronounced dead at the scene and the female driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. This is the second border patrol agent to be killed in car crash this year.
