According to authorities, an Oro Valley Construction Inspector was struck by a vehicle last Thursday while attempting to control traffic between N. 1st Avenue and N. Royal Couty in the area of Immaculate Heart School. 

The inspector received a small cut, but the collision did not result in any serious injuries. She did not require medical attention.

Police have said that as a result of the accident, they will be putting more men and effort into policing the heavy vehicle traffic in the area. This will continue until the road work is finished.
