A family that was driving back to California were involved in an extremely serious accident in Arizona. Eleven individuals were in the vehicle, and only three of them were wearing a seatbelt.
A back tire blew out, causing the car to flip and roll over. This caused six individuals to be ejected from the vehicle, and others in the vehicle to be tossed around. One of the individuals who was ejected from the vehicle, a 29 year-old man, was killed because of this accident.
This accident is a reminder of the importance to wear a seatbelt at all times. Also, the vehicle the family was in was not specifically designed for eleven people. It is important that if you are traveling, that a vehicle have enough seatbelts for every occupant of the vehicle.
