The Tucson Police Department is currently looking into the reasons behind a fatal motorcycle accident that resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 3:30 PM near the Pima County Rodeo Grounds.

According to witnesses, the 36-year-old driver struck a curb while riding his motorcycle before colliding with a wooden pole. 

Authorities believe speed was a factor in the crash.
