An official with the Obama administration has recently announced efforts in order to curb and stop the practice of texting while driving.

The push has put new restrictions on vehicles making interstate travel.  The restrictions will not allow the drivers of these vehicles to text while driving. Administration officials hope that this new restriction will lead the way for other states to begin creating and enforcing restrictions against this dangerous and distracting practice.
