Valley Meat Company has announced the recall of over one million pounds of meat after possible E.coli contamination.

Seven people have become ill with E.coli-type symptoms after eating the recalled frozen beef products. The products were sold in multiple western states such as Texas, Oregon, Arizona and California between October 2009 and January 2010. Consumers are urged to check their frozen goods and discard any that are included in the recall.
