Many individuals will ride in the back of a pickup truck when travelling short distances.  This normally occurs when the cabin of the truck is full.  This practice is very dangerous and should never occur.

If an individual were to get into a car accident with someone in the back of the pickup,  the accident could be catastrophic.  The individual in the back of the truck would likely be ejected from the vehicle after smashing into the back of the frame.  This type of injury would likely be fatal or put the individual in critical condition even at slow speeds.

It is important to use common sense throughout the day.  Avoid dangerous situations like this to protect yourself from a serious accident.
