A serious accident took place Wednesday afternoon after a SUV lost controlled, rolled over, and flipped several times.

The accident was on Interstate 17.  Several 911 calls were placed after the accident and emergency officials rushed to the scene.

In total, at least 6 people were ejected from the vehicle.  One other individual remained inside the vehicle after the accident. Several serious injuries occurred during the accident. In addition, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene which prompted a man hunt.  

Police are currently investigating the accident. Charges will likely be filed against the driver if he is found.
