Three people were hospitalized after an automobile accident that occurred Friday evening near Highway 92 and Snyder Boulevard. While it was initially believed that the victims suffered only minor injuries, one individual was taken by helicopter to receive medical treatment.
While it is unclear at this time what exactly caused the accident, alcohol is believed to have played a role. According to police, a Mazda Protege and a Nissan Pathfinder collided late on Friday, injuring three people. Medical responders treated the victims. An area was cleared for the emergency evacuation helicopter.
