A 60-year-old Vietnam War vet was killed in a collision with a car while on his motorcycle this Thursday, according to Tucson police.
He was heading east on Gold Links Road when his motorcycle and a vehicle turning south onto Perillo Place crashed into one another.
The 60-year-old was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from his bike, striking a curb and then a fire hydrant.
Police do not know if speed was a factor in the incident and have not yet assigned fault for the accident.
